- CinePlayer DVR is an easy to use tool for recording video directly to compressed
- files. CinePlayer DVR Standard includes MPEG-1 and ASF recording and CinePlayer
- DVR Plus also includes MPEG-2.

- Features of CinePlayer DVR:

- 1. Records compressed video to file in real time.

- 2. Supports MPEG-1, ASF and optionally MPEG-2 formats.

- 3. Includes a scheduler to record events unattended.

- 4. Plays recorded files and any DirectShow supported format.

- Because CinePlayer DVR Trial is a ShareWare product, it has the following
- limitations to the users.

- Limitations of the Trial Version:
- ---------------------------------

- 1. Annoying NAG screens pop up in various places suggesting users to
- buy the product.

- 2. Output file size can be at maximum 10 minutes.
-
- 3. The product will expire after 30 days.
-
- CinePlayer DVR Retail is available to the users for a charge and has none of the
- limitations listed above.

- Known Issues or Bugs:
- ---------------------

- 1. CinePlayer DVR 2.5 does not support WDM drivers.
-
- 2. CinePlayer DVR doesn't set the video standard for the capture card.
- This must be done manually through the video standard box in
- Preferences.

- 3. There is no preview with the combination of Nvidia based video cards
- and some capture cards.

- 4. CinePlayer DVR may appear to have stopped responding after an ASF
- recording due to the time it takes to index an ASF file.

- 5. There is no audio in tuner mode with ATI TV-Wonder card.
-
- 6. When a system is in standby mode, the scheduler is unable to launch
- CinePlayer DVR in order to record an event.
