  5. CinePlayer DVR is an easy to use tool for recording video directly to compressed
  6. files.  CinePlayer DVR Standard includes MPEG-1 and ASF recording and CinePlayer
  7. DVR Plus also includes MPEG-2.

  10.     Features of CinePlayer DVR:

  13.         1.  Records compressed video to file in real time.

  15.         2.  Supports MPEG-1, ASF and optionally MPEG-2 formats.

  17.         3.  Includes a scheduler to record events unattended.

  19.         4.  Plays recorded files and any DirectShow supported format.

  22. Because CinePlayer DVR Trial is a ShareWare product, it has the following
  23. limitations to the users.

  25.     Limitations of the Trial Version:

  28.         1.  Annoying NAG screens pop up in various places suggesting users to
  29.             buy the product.
  30.  
  31.         2.  Output file size can be at maximum 10 minutes.
  32.  
  33.         3.  The product will expire after 30 days.

  35. CinePlayer DVR Retail is available to the users for a charge and has none of the
  36. limitations listed above.

  39.     Known Issues or Bugs:

  42.         1. CinePlayer DVR 2.5 does not support WDM drivers.
  43.  
  44.         2. CinePlayer DVR doesn't set the video standard for the capture card.
  45.            This must be done manually through the video standard box in 
  46.            Preferences.
  47.  
  48.         3. There is no preview with the combination of Nvidia based video cards
  49.            and some capture cards.
  50.  
  51.         4. CinePlayer DVR may appear to have stopped responding after an ASF
  52.            recording due to the time it takes to index an ASF file.
  53.  
  54.         5. There is no audio in tuner mode with ATI TV-Wonder card.
  55.  
  56.         6. When a system is in standby mode, the scheduler is unable to launch
  57.            CinePlayer DVR in order to record an event.
